MISSSSSSTERRRRRR KENNNNNNNNEDY!!!!!

KENNEDY!

He’s finally back on WWE Monday Night Raw one day and virtually and gone the next.

And now Mr. Kennedy is gone from WWE wrestling permanently.

That sucks.

Along with Undertaker, Christian, Jericho, and Kane, Mr. Kennedy was one of my current favorite wrestlers.

His intros were awesome (there was never any doubt as to whom was entering the ring at the time), his attitude was fun, and the “Turn Up The Trouble” entrance music rocked.

So yeah, Monday Night Raw is going to suck even more without him.  The storylines on Raw lately were getting pretty weak (the whole “Santina” crap needs to go, now!), and it sounded like Mr. Kennedy was going to have a major role and shake things up a bit upon his return.

But on the very day of his comeback after sitting out ten months for an injury, he injured his own wrist and nearly broke Orton’s collar bone during a badly performed suplex.

It’s one thing to botch a move against a nobody, but to do it against one of the top talents in modern day wrestling is something else.

I am a little bit surprised that Mr. Kennedy’s big return was in a five-on-five match involving the top wrestlers in Raw.  When Umaga came back he went against the nobody’s for a few matches until they gave him tougher opponents, almost as if they were tune-up matches to get him back in shape for Smackdown.  They could have done something similar with Mr. Kennedy, perhaps giving him a quick match against The Miz or Chavo before having him wrestle in the main story line.

So what’s going to be next for Mr. Kennedy?

Right now I wouldn’t consider going the Hollywood movie route with straight-to-video movies like “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.  He doesn’t have enough popularity outside of wrestling to make that happen, and his role in Behind Enemy Lines: Columbia wasn’t enough to launch him into stardom, either.

The most obvious choice would be to try to make the jump over to TNA.  He would be a good draw for the wrestling organization and it would be cool to see him over there, but with him being injury prone, would they still offer him a contract?

Hopefully they will and Mr. Kennedy can continue to entertain the crowds.
