As it’s been noted here, these past few weeks have been extremely tough on what’s left of my immediate family.
This was further complicated with my father’s recent lower leg infection and admission to a local hospital. His visit only lasted a few days and it looks like the infection is mostly cured, but it appears that a nasty side effect of one of his medications is high blood pressure. For a person who already had borderline high blood pressure and was taking medication for it, it’s rather surprising that doctors would prescribe a medication with that being a side effect. Then again, high blood pressure was not noted as an OFFICIAL side effect —- it’s just been mentioned as an unlisted side effect by lots of different people online.
I’m sure that nothing major will happen to his near-term health, but it’s just added stress and aggravation during an already difficult time. The strong forces of depression keep entering my mind on a regular basis. Concentration is extremely difficult at times. Thankfully, it’s still easy to put on a false front and give the illusion to friends that everything appears to be normal despite a certain person no longer being with us. Read more…
